Thanks to the A.F.T. (American Federation of Teachers) and T.E.S. ( Times Educational Supplement from U.K.), teachers now have some incredible resources to deliver powerful lessons which meet the rigorous demands of the new common core standards.
SHARE MY LESSON offers over 250,000 teaching resources for free. This includes lessons generated by teachers for teachers (all lessons submitted include also include worksheets and handouts), partner websites (all tied to education), K-5 academic games tied to common core, newsletters, instructional videos (Teaching Channel), insights in working with ELLs as well as those with special needs, etc.
With such an instructional bank to pull from, designing common core based lessons should be quite a bit less stressful:)
