Awesome support sites for teachers of ELLs!

Dr. Mora's websites below are an incredible resource for teachers of ELLs at any grade level. Though she is now retired, she has left her sites up for teachers to use as needed. Check them out! You will probably want to bookmark them.

  1. The following site is one that I have already created HOT LISTS and WEBQUESTS on. However, you don't have to create your own. You can use ones already on the site. I love this site because I have total control over what my students see. The other benefit is that they don't waste time. I provide students with a graphic organizer or questionnaire and they do all the assignments required. No more complaints of "the web address is wrong" :)

  2. I have used this sites many times and it is terrific. The webquests are intense but the Scavenger hunts are easier. The hot lists are great for computer lab time as you can give the learners the sites and they don't waste time searching for the sites. Marnie Schwartz, MA
